The BABCO ELECTRIC GROUP HSS - 6600 Medium Voltage Solid State Starter is designed and engineered to provide uncompromised, reliable service to control any electric motor drive application where reduced voltage starting is required. Our integrated manufacturing facility in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada can provide our customers with a full line of Horse Power ratings and voltages, and also a wide range of Medium Voltage Switchgear and Motor Controls to compliment the packaging of Solid State Starters. Our units are manufactured to strict Electrical Industry Standards and comply with CSA, ANSI, UL, IEC and most local codes and ordinances.

All Solid State Starters provide smooth, stepless acceleration, eliminated power line surges and prevent costly maintenance to the entire power transmission drive train. All logic controls are microprocessor - based and provide ease of communication and service. BABCO also manufactures enclosures that meet most environmental specifications such as CSA Enc. 1, 3, 4 and 12.
